On March 20th we said "goodbye" to our "sticks and Bricks" home and "hello" to our full time rv life! This has been a real roller coaster time for us. We accepted the offer on our home and had 30 days to get out. In that time Covid-19 made an appearance and is turning the world upside down. We are so incredibly blessed and Thank God everyday that our home sold when it did! Gina worked till the end of February and then we both busted our butts to get everything out of the house. If you are thinking of doing this at all I suggest starting to "purge" sooner rather than later! We had no idea how much "stuff" we had!! We spent 2 nights in our motorhome in our neighbor's yard and now we are at the Riverside Resort Rv Park in Laughlin till the end of the month. (watch for review of the Riverside in the next couple days).
We had plans to take 2 weeks or longer to get to our work camping job in Idaho, but now we are going to get there sooner we think. We are heading to St George Utah for a week and then Idaho. The down time at the Riverside has been great for "self Isolation" and getting more scanning and purging done. Hopefully in the next couple days I will have everything done and then finish organizing before we leave next week.
We made the decision in November to make this move. And we are so glad we did with all that is going on right now. We had a beautiful home, but we were not "living". Gina was working full time while Gus has been retired for almost 10 years already. There was no time to enjoy anything let alone each other. Hopefully now that will change. With the Covid-19 going on, we are taking precautions and doing as the CDC suggests and hope this will be over soon so we can enjoy the beautiful country we live in.
I will do my best to keep up with reviews of where we are at times so you all can enjoy this "adventure" with us!
