Purge, Purge, Purge!

As Gus and I get closer to becoming full time in our motorhome (shooting for 3/31/20), we are now in full mode of decluttering years of accumulation of stuff.

Holy mud! , what in the world was I thinking when I accumulated all this stuff? Has anyone seen the show called Hoarders on TV? I could easily be one of them. I have always squirreled away things because my thinking was that I might need it at some point.

For instance office supplies that I have saved since I don’t know when. I could supply my work office for a year! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We are getting ready for our 1st Estate sale next weekend, hopefully the house will look less cluttered after that!

At first letting go was difficult but now even Gus has joined me in the “get rid of it” frenzy.

I look forward to peace of mind of not having so much "stuff". And truth be told, it is a little liberating to know that I am only keeping what I need and what truly makes me happy.
