So since we are getting close to being full time rvers we thought we would check out the Quartzsite RV show since we were fairly close to it . Who knows when we will be close to one again right? So Gina had to go to Lake Havasu for a meeting so we decided to make a small getaway out of it.

Now the fun thing about this meeting was, Gina had been emailing a client for work and had asked where she could send a Christmas gift to. The client sent her an address in Box Elder South Dakota . She recognized the address as that of Americas Mailbox, so she asked the client if she was full time rving and she is! So she was going to be in Lake Havasu for the Xcapees 2020 bash and invited her to meet her there to check it out!

It looked like a really nice event for full time rvers that work on the road. It was all boondocking, but they had everything you needed, showers, wifi work stations and lots of entertainment and fun! We will consider joining someday if Gina does more work from the road other the camphosting.

We stayed the night in Lake Havasu and rested up for the next day in Quartzsite. We got a nice early start and got there just as it was opening. OMG! The traffic and crowd was already insane! We barely found a place to park in not a great place, on a ledge kinda out of the way. We grabbed Maggie and headed for the big tent. The crowd inside was insane!

We only walked through a small portion of it, while Gina was carrying Maggie so she wouldn't get stepped on. We found a not so busy spot and got her backpack out so she could ride on Gus's back.

Much better for her. We did not go back in the tent, it was so busy you could not see anything! We did walk around and check out the Class A's. After looking at alot of them we are pretty happy with ours! The newer ones are nice, but I dont need a dishwasher and I like have real wood cabinets not "fake" wood. And our lay out is just as nice as the new ones. The newer ones do have some more storage, but we will just make our own storage in Gus's Bus.

We only took a few pictures as Gina was really not feeling very well that day. We headed home by 10:30 am and got home about 1ish. All in all, we would say, its not worth the crowd to attend one of these things unless maybe the last day or a day when its not as busy. We didnt see any "great" deals that we couldn't get on the internet.
